Its entrepreneurial spirit in the last decade has doubled the size of the Sculpture Park to 16 hectares, more than trebled the attendance to over 130,00 visitors annually, acquired important works and forged public private partnerships to consolidate its role as an artistic hub and the focus for cultural tourism in the Franks ton Mornington Peninsula regions. McClellan is now in its third phase of evolution, since its establishment in the 1970s from the Will and vision of Annie May McClellan. We also acknowledge the significant encourage provided by a range of government, philanthropic and corporate partners who make our programs possible. It is urgent for McClellan to continue to enlarge and cultivate its community support, and to ensure its financial base into the future. We are a notforprofit organization committed to ensuring accessibility to all and rely on donations and philanthropic promote to remain our work. In addition to these programs, our innovative educational and public programs, including activities such the Art and Nature program, Art Chats and children's workshops are a resource available for schools and the wider community. An important and unique aspect of McClellan is the group of four guilds and community groups whose studios are located in the grounds. These autonomous community organizations conceal a expansive range of skills from painting and drawing, wood turning, lapidary and jewellery making, to spinning and weaving. They actively encourage these activities to a wider community, and in doing so they extend Harry and Annie May McClellan’s vision of an artistic center for the wider Franks ton Mornington Peninsula region. We are committed to working with our local and regional community, partnering with arts and community organizations and supporting art practice in a sustainable way.

Harry, an artist and philanthropist, and his sister, a poet and entrepreneur, enjoyed a life packed of aesthetic and philosophic pursuits, with Annie May (Nan) hosting the beginning children’s radio program on the ABC. In addition, three indoor gallery spaces accommodate temporary Exhibitions and collection displays of works on paper, photography, painting and sculpture.
